I am the only MEV-certified singing teacher in the UK. That means that my approach to singing teaching is unique. I also trained at the London School of Musical Theatre and I'm a working singer and actor.
MEV is the most trusted singing method by Spain's musical theatre professionals and pop stars and it was developed by singing maestro Jose Masegosa after over 20 years of research and teaching. What makes MEV unique is that it is a practical method based on muscle strength, muscle memory and repetition. That means that it WORKS for everyone.
Professionals that train or have trained with MEV include: pop star Rosalia, Chanel (who represented Spain at Eurovision in 2022) Geronimo Rauch (whose credits include Jean Valjean and The Phantom on the West End), Guido Balzaretti (Spanish productions of Next to Normal, The Phantom of the Opera, Dear Evan Hansen), among many others.
In our lessons, we will train your voice through exercises tailored to your needs. These exercises will take up about 50% of our class time, depeding on what your voice requires. We will then use the remaning time to apply those exercises to songs of your choice.
In many ways, my classes are like a vocal gym: after all, our voice is produced by the action of the muscles in our larynx. The stronger the muscles, the stronger our voice will be. Come and train with me!
