I have really enjoyed my lessons with Tom as he provides a relaxed and engaging environment in which to learn. As a beginner on guitar, he has helped me to enjoy the instrument and tailors each lesson to what I want to learn. I’d definitely recommend Tom to anyone learning to play guitar, whether they are a beginner or more advanced.

Tom did not refund any of £250+ that I spent, despite developing mental and physical health difficulties that stopped me from attending all but one of the lessons. Find another teacher who will refund you and have sympathy for any personal difficulties.

Hi George. The policy on my profile states that I do not offer refunds for any purchased lesson packs. My policy is available to read on my profile, and any clients that hire me for work are agreeing to the terms when they purchase lessons. We discussed this prior to you starting your lessons with me and I offered to reschedule them to a later date of your choosing after you explained that you were having some difficulties. You agreed to go ahead with the lessons and I even let you reschedule several more times to allow you some time to focus on recovery. You attended only the first lesson of the pack you had purchased, did not return to attend any of the following lessons and did not inform me that you would not be continuing. You also did not mention anything pertaining to your physical health. Sorry to hear about your current difficulties. I wish you a swift recovery, and hope you can pursue music lessons with other tutors when you are feeling better. Kind regards, Tom

I have thoroughly enjoyed my lessons with Tom! Starting from the absolute basics, he is a great teacher and I have grew my passion for the piano a lot more! Teaching key elements from reading music, piano exercises involving the importance of rhythm to playing songs. Tom has a seemingly limitless amount of knowledge regarding music and a very unique way of conveying information and teaching to make it seem very simple. At first, music theory seems very daunting, but Tom is very good at simplifying it. I would definitely recommend.
