I am a complete beginner at playing the saxophone (with no musical experience). Tom has been very patient and supportive, he has so much experience and knowledge. I really enjoy playing and look forward to our lessons. I never thought I would be able to play a song! Highly recommended 👌

Tom makes the whole online lesson experience easy and packs a lot into each lesson, though the time flies! Tom is patient, encouraging, very knowledgeable and the online aspect doesn’t stop him missing a thing. It’s been a long time since I had lessons (jazz saxophone) and I have noticed a huge difference in my playing already, I’m looking forward to seeing where this goes!

Tom is a very engaging teacher with lifelong learning experience. He has a wonderful understanding of jazz. With a respectful and fun attitude he has put me at ease during our lessons. I would highly recommend taking lessons with him.

We have really enjoyed watching our daughter grow in confidence in playing her instrument and this is largely because of Tom’s knowledge, teaching style, and approach. He is an accomplished musician and he uses this knowledge to excite and enthuse our daughter which has encouraged her to play more. Furthermore, his approach is one that is relaxed and approachable and this fosters a positive learning environment. He’s a great teacher and we would recommend him.

Tom had been teaching my son (age 12) who is a total beginner and it’s been fantastic. He enjoys his lessons, is keen to practice outside of them and is building up his skills really quickly. I wasn’t sure about online teaching but I’d prefer it after seeing how Tom does it. He’s positive and constructive in areas to focus on, motivating and inspiring and works at a great pace to keep Thomas engaged and stretched - as well as fun so that my son really enjoys it.

Tom is a great teacher. My teenage son is so keen to learn from him and Tom makes each lesson interesting and fun. Tom helps choose pieces that work well for my son, and gives thorough feedback and goals to work towards each time. Very efficient at replying to messages too. Friendly and approachable.

Tom was really lovely and encouraged and praised my daughter throughout the lesson. She went in nervous but came out having really enjoyed her first flute lesson. Tom has also been great at responding to messages and proactive about getting in touch.
