I can’t recommend Simon enough! Every lesson so far has been well executed. Simon prepares and tailors the lesson to you, so not only do you play the songs you like but they are also well selected to help you progress. He also keeps good track of your progress and goals. Communication is excellent both in and outside of the lesson. It’s obvious that Simon is an expert in his field but he’s careful not to overwhelm you with jargon or complicated music theory unless you want it. Simon shows enthusiasm in all his lessons and is great with people. I’d be amazed if you weren’t satisfied should you try lessons with him.

Simon is brilliant with my son Henry -really patient, fun, and keeps him focussed. Henry has made really good progress but most importantly really enjoys the lessons. He gets to choose the songs he plays and Simon adapts them so they’re manageable. Henry says : ‘Simon is really nice, amazing at guitar, and the best teacher!’

I recently started lessons with Simon as a complete beginner and he's been a great teacher. His lessons are fun and well organized, he always makes sure to choose music I will enjoy playing and he's been very encouraging and informative! Would definitely recommend :)

Simon is a patient and encouraging teacher who is fully focused on what it is I want to learn, which keeps me motivated in my playing! Simon has encouraged me to set some goals and now we are working towards these week by week. One of my goals was to simply become more confident with the guitar and I am definitely already feeling this. Lessons are fun and engaging and I'm given a new song to go away and practice most weeks, meaning it doesn't get stagnant or boring! I'm really pleased I decided to start lessons with Simon rather than continuing to try and teach myself, which wasn't getting me very far! Highly recommended if you want an awesome guitar player and teacher to support you with whatever you want to achieve!

My 9yr old would have lessons with Simon every day of the week if he could. He’s a brilliant teacher and has helped my son develop a real love for music. He’s patient, encouraging and has taught my son a huge amount in a short time. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
