Simon is a brilliant teacher! I played violin as a child and decided to pick it back up again some decade(s!) later. Simon is a fantastic violin teacher and all-round good fella. I started about 6 months ago as an absolute beginner to the instrument and to music theory in general. Simon has helped me to get a firm grounding in good technique and intonation from the very start. We have focused on learning the basics and theory well so that I can move to playing with musicality quickly. Simon is able to explain the theory behind playing the instrument clearly so that even a total beginner can understand. He also obviously loves the instrument and is a great musician. Simon is very easy to get on with and a good laugh, would strongly recommend hi m as a teacher!
