About Raoul
Hi, I’m Raoul Georgescu, a professional drummer and drum kit teacher, currently relocating to London. I offer online drum lessons and in-person lessons at the student’s home for all ages and abilities.
I have a strong background in both classical percussion and jazz drum kit, having studied at the National College of Arts “Dinu Lipatti” (Romania), The Purcell School for Young Musicians, and recently graduating from Leeds Conservatoire, specialising in Jazz Drum Kit. I regularly perform as a session musician across styles including jazz, rock, pop, R&B, and Latin music.
I’ve been teaching since 2018 and tailor every lesson to the student’s goals — whether you’re a complete beginner, preparing for grade exams, or looking to improve groove, technique, or improvisation. Lessons are structured, supportive, and enjoyable, with a strong focus on musicality and confidence.
Lesson options:
