Had a very interesting and instructive first flute lesson with Michael. He was very knowledgeable and patient in answering my many questions and gave me great guidance to get that all important improvement in tone. I am looking forward to my next block of lessons to progress further.

I've been having saxophone lessons with Michael for only 4 weeks ,and I would say that with he's easy and calm teaching how to play is a understatement, he make the whole experience so enjoyable, and i look forward to it every week. Tony

Michael has been teaching my son for 6 weeks now and he has made heaps of progress. Michael's music room was so inspiring and it was all my son could talk about that week. Michael has helped him prepare for GCSEs and other performances. We appreciate his flexibility and he has a simple way of explaining complex things which helps too!

I have been having saxophone lessons with Michael for a few months and I highly recommend him. Michael makes lessons really interesting and his attention to getting the basics right is exactly what I need. Its great having a teacher who I can ask any questions without feeling silly, Michael is really enthusiastic and I feel that I am asking real progress. I’m a complete beginner who started from scratch, and I couldn’t have asked for a better flute teacher. Michael is incredibly patient and encouraging, always creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment. I really appreciate the way he breaks things down into manageable steps, making each new exercise feel approachable rather than overwhelming. Michael is an excellent Saxophone teacher. He makes it easy to understand the instrument techniques and is always happy to demonstrate. I’m also learning to improve reading music and he is extremely patient and breaks things down for ease of understanding. I always look forward to the lessons. Would definitely recommend.

I used to be Michael’s Headteacher. Now I’m his student! His teaching is excellent. He is always well prepared and always sends very helpful summary notes at the end of each lesson. His musical knowledge is excellent and he makes good use of it in his teaching which he pitches well to the needs of the student. He is patient and kind and thinks carefully about how the individual learns and how to adapt to this. I thoroughly recommend him as a great teacher.

Michael has been an amazing find. Michael is hugely knowledgeable and really cares about his students wanting them to be the best they can. I have a musical background so I had high expectations of a music teacher and Michael did not disappoint. Michael was instrumental in my son achieving a distinction in his last exam. Michael is a kind and excellent music teacher, my son throughly enjoys his lessons and we are very lucky to be working with him.
