I’m a complete beginner who started from scratch, and I couldn’t have asked for a better flute teacher. Michael is incredibly patient and encouraging, always creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment. I really appreciate the way he breaks things down into manageable steps, making each new exercise feel approachable rather than overwhelming. Thanks to his guidance, I’m making steady progress and genuinely enjoying the learning process. I highly recommend Michael to anyone interested in learning the flute!

Michael is an excellent Saxophone teacher. He makes it easy to understand the instrument techniques and is always happy to demonstrate. I’m also learning to improve reading music and he is extremely patient and breaks things down for ease of understanding. I always look forward to the lessons. Would definitely recommend.

I used to be Michael’s Headteacher. Now I’m his student! His teaching is excellent. He is always well prepared and always sends very helpful summary notes at the end of each lesson. His musical knowledge is excellent and he makes good use of it in his teaching which he pitches well to the needs of the student. He is patient and kind and thinks carefully about how the individual learns and how to adapt to this. I thoroughly recommend him as a great teacher.
