Take Music lessons with Matthew - For great music lessons you need a great music teacher!

I have now had several lessons with Matthew and am absolutely delighted with my progress. He really listened to my objectives, and has done an excellent job of helping me to achieve my aims so far. As someone with an old vocal injury, one of the main reasons I chose to take up singing lessons again was for vocal rehab, and I am really happy to be working with Matthew as his knowledge in this area is excellent. I really enjoy the lessons themselves, and also the fact that Matthew gives me things to work on in-between classes. Finally, it’s lovely to work with Matthew himself. He does a great job of creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere in the lessons, and I always look forward to class. In summary, I would 100% recommend Matthew as a singing teacher!

Matthew is patient, works around your skill level. He is good at adapting to your needs with your voice and performances. He is knowledgeable and is always kind and helpful. He sets achievable goals which prove effective. We highly recommend Matthew as teacher.

Matthew is a great singing teacher. I’m amazed how far I’ve come in such a short time. His technical knowledge about the voice and how it works is very vast. He’s easy to get along with which makes lessons with him a wonderful experience. I’m looking forward to learning more in the future and I enjoy practicing while out of lessons as well. Could not recommend him enough.

Mathew is extremely comprehensive when it comes to teaching someone to sing. His knowledge of how the voice box works, to breathing, to singing, is just incredible! He has such a great starter plan that helps you understand more about what makes a good singer and then when it comes down to it, has a great way of showing you what you need to do, and work on, for the future. On top of all that, he is a very nice and easy to talk to person, and extremely accommodating! HIGHLY recommend to anyone, from beginners to professionals who just need a reminder! I cannot overstate how much my singing voice has improved since learning with Matthew with both in-person and online lessons. He is the best singing teacher I have ever had; his knowledge is fantastic, and he even helped me to record an album. He is both patient and friendly and knows how to challenge and motivate me. I can confirm that there is no negative impact or loss of learning from taking lessons with him online. I highly recommend him.

Matthew has his full attention on the lesson (often taking notes as I sing) and is always offering valuable insights and constructive criticism that are delivered in an encouraging way. He is clearly very knowledgeable and has a real skill for communicating feedback, ideas and information. My online lessons are a highlight of every week, I find them really motivating and always come out feeling rewarded and looking forward to the next.
