I have now had several lessons with Matthew and am absolutely delighted with my progress. He really listened to my objectives, and has done an excellent job of helping me to achieve my aims so far. As someone with an old vocal injury, one of the main reasons I chose to take up singing lessons again was for vocal rehab, and I am really happy to be working with Matthew as his knowledge in this area is excellent. I really enjoy the lessons themselves, and also the fact that Matthew gives me things to work on in-between classes. Finally, it’s lovely to work with Matthew himself. He does a great job of creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere in the lessons, and I always look forward to class. In summary, I would 100% recommend Matthew as a singing teacher!

Matthew is a great singing teacher. I’m amazed how far I’ve come in such a short time. His technical knowledge about the voice and how it works is very vast. He’s easy to get along with which makes lessons with him a wonderful experience. I’m looking forward to learning more in the future and I enjoy practicing while out of lessons as well. Mathew is extremely comprehensive when it comes to teaching someone to sing. His knowledge of how the voice box works, to breathing, to singing, is just incredible! He has such a great starter plan that helps you understand more about what makes a good singer and then when it comes down to it, has a great way of showing you what you need to do, and work on, for the future. On top of all that, he is a very nice and easy to talk to person, and extremely accommodating! HIGHLY recommend to anyone, from beginners to professionals who just need a reminder! I cannot overstate how much my singing voice has improved since learning with Matthew with both in-person and online lessons. He is the best singing teacher I have ever had; his knowledge is fantastic, and he even helped me to record an album. He is both patient and friendly and knows how to challenge and motivate me.
