Maria is an excellent teacher for my beginner daughter (aged 7). Encouraging, enthusiastic and knowledgeable, with a wealth of teaching experience. As a professional musician, I can't fault her approach, as she introduces new ideas and techniques in a clear and approachable manner, and is friendly and engaging. I feel that my daughter is progressing well and she enjoys her lessons greatly and even enjoys practising at home too!

I have delayed posting this comment until after several months tuition in order to leave a worthwhile, genuine review. Maria is the most patient, professional and perfect teacher that I could wish for. I started learning piano, as an ancient (late seventies), under Maria's guidance and within a few weeks I could both read and play music to a standard way beyond my expectations. Maria has always been very encouraging, rapidly advancing me according to my ability. I whole heartedly recommend Maria to anyone wanting to start, or improve, playing music.
