Maddi was awarded a First-class BMus (Hons) Music degree in 2023 from the University of Surrey (No. 2 in the UK for Music). She specialised in Performance and developed into a fine flute player, gaining a First in all but one of her Performance modules. She made a valuable contribution to the life of the Department and the local community as soloist, chamber player, and in our University Orchestra. She is hard-working, proactive, and approachable, and is likely to inspire young musicians.
