Kosmas was born in Larissa, Greece. He started piano lessons at a young age and instantly fell in love with the instrument! He has gone on to achieve a piano diploma with honours, a degree in music performance, and has performed in concert halls across Europe. He is currently studying for a masters degree at the Royal Northern College of Music. As a tutor, Kosmas prides himself on being able to adapt his teaching to suit the needs of the individual; changing repertoire and approach to best suit the students learning style and musical preferences.

Kosmas specialises in classical music, from the Baroque era to the 20th Century. However he is also able to work in other styles such as pop and jazz.

First lesson
His main aim during the first lesson is to make the student feel comfortable and get to know them and their musical preferences. A first lesson with Kosmas would usually start with a a little chat and move
on to a warm-up away from the instrument. After that, he would ask the student that have had piano lessons in the past to play a piece they like. In the case that the student is a beginner, Kosmas would
begin with the basics such as: an introduction to the instrument and how the sound is produced, the correct sitting position etc. Finally, I find it really fascinating for the student to finish the lesson with some improvisation in the very first lesson.

Beginners
Beginners of all ages are welcome! The only thing they need to bring to the first lesson is a music notebook and wear their best smile because a fascinating journey to the music world is about to begin!
