Katie is an ABRSM grade 8 pianist and vocalist, based in Bedfordshire. She has had 15+ years experience playing and performing both instruments both as a soloist and as part of a variety of ensembles/choirs, including the 'Hertfordshire County Youth Choir', and has performed in many prestigious venues, such as Milton Keynes Theatre, Ely Cathedral and the Royal Albert Hall. She was a regional finalist at the EPTA UK piano competition in 2016, performing at Wigmore Hall, London. Katie graduated with a 1st Class BA (Hons) Music degree from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge in 2019, giving her further experience of singing and playing a variety of different pieces of music both on her own and as part of other ensembles, including the "Anglia Ruskin World Music Ensemble', playing the piano for the group. She continues to sing and play the piano, and currently sings as part of the 'North Herts Guild of Singers'.

Katie offers both singing and piano lessons in person, mainly focusing on classical repertoire. She also teaches jazz, pop and musical theatre styles, and when preparing for grades, she teaches from the ABRSM syllabus, however, other grade syllabuses can be taught if the student prefers. Her teaching is very much pupil centred, and she is very understanding towards other students' needs and aspirations.

Lessons are fun and informal, and are in the same location every week in person.
