John is a wonderful piano teacher and we couldn’t be happier with our daughter’s lessons. He is incredibly patient, kind, and such a lovely person. Our daughter really enjoys her lessons with him and has grown in confidence and ability since starting. John is always encouraging and supportive, and he takes the time to make sure she understands and enjoys what she is learning. He is also very accommodating when we need to make changes to the lesson schedule, which is a huge help for us. We would highly recommend John to anyone looking for a piano teacher.

John has completely reawakened our daughter’s love of playing the piano. In just a few weeks, he has transformed her enthusiasm and confidence. She now happily spends hours practising and playing simply because she wants to. John teaches through encouragement, inspiration and example. His own playing is extraordinary — full of emotion, character and musicality — and he has inspired our  daughter to bring those same qualities into her own playing. He is patient, kind and quietly encouraging, creating an environment where mistakes are simply part of learning. He hasn’t just helped her become a better pianist — he has reignited her musical fire. We couldn’t be happier to have found him.

John Mark is the most patient teacher and ALWAYS goes the extra mile. Whilst I am a mature student of John Mark’s I thoroughly recommend him for any age group. He is kindness beyond measure.
