Lessons
Central to my teaching is the desire to cultivate a love and joy for music-making, whatever your ambitions or commitment may be. I believe every student is unique, with their own relationship to music, so I don’t bring a fixed agenda. Instead, your goals shape the direction we take together.
Some students are preparing for auditions or pursuing high-level playing; others simply want to reconnect with music in a more relaxed way. Both approaches are welcome. I work with each student to build a path that feels personal, stimulating, and fulfilling—balancing technical development with musical expression and creative exploration.
Whether you’re starting from scratch or returning to the violin after a break, lessons are thoughtful, flexible, and encouraging. I aim to create a space where you feel supported, inspired, and able to grow at your own pace.
Inspiration
Music transcends time and place, bringing people together across cultures and history. It combines emotion, intellect, and artistry—and learning to play is a first step into that vast and fascinating world.
For me, the most exciting part of teaching is helping others take that step. I aim to inspire students not only to reach their artistic potential but also to experience the many values music can offer: curiosity, resilience, self-expression, and joy.
About Me
I’m a British violinist who performs internationally as a soloist and chamber musician, in addition to being a committed educator and classical music advocate.
The 2024/25 season marks my professional concerto debut, performing Mozart’s First Violin Concerto with the London Mozart Players. Highlights include recitals with Julian Trevelyan and Sam Haywood, and appearances at festivals such as Stift and Two Moors.
I’m currently undertaking an Artist Diploma at the Royal College of Music in London, supported by the Orpheus Foundation. My mentors are Daniel Rowland and Alina Ibragimova, and I’ve taken masterclasses with leading pedagogues including Vadim Gluzman, Shmuel Ashkenazi, and Mihaela Martin at IMS Prussia Cove and Kronberg Academy.
In 2023/24, I was one of 11 musicians worldwide to receive the London Symphony Or...
