We engaged with Jody to carry on with sax lessons for my boy, grade 6 abrsm. Jody is very well organised, pleasant, supportive, and punctual. My boy really enjoys the lessons, is eager to practice, and claims his technique is improving. We are looking forward to continuing with Jody and are happy to have found him!

The lessons have been great and I am very happy with it, the teacher is very professional and friendly always arrives in time, I have made a good progress so far.

I have been having saxophone lessons with Jody for three months now. I started as a complete beginner. Jody has been fantastic. I have had numerous music teachers in the past and Jody stands out because he really focuses on what you want to learn and is able to teach a wide range of styles and in a way that is easy to understand as a novice. He is also flexible with scheduling lessons which helps me when I’m busy. He is very patient and I always feel comfortable bringing up my goals to him because he just wants to help and build around the student’s wants. So far we have covered pop and jazz. He is very experienced with jazz especially and explains music theory in simple terms which helps me a lot! I feel I have picked up so much since starting with Jody and I would definitely recommend him to anyone interested in starting the saxophone or wanting to improve on their skills.
