Jen has been really helpful - insightful and encouraging. I'm only having a few lessons at this stage but I hope to be back in the future. As someone who had played recorder on and off for decades, but never had a lesson from someone who was really a recorder player, I suspected there was a world of technique I had no idea about - and there is, and Jen's lessons have given me much to think about and work at. What I hadn't anticipated was how helpful a few lessons with her would also be, concerning how to practise and the nature of performance. I think that may be just as important to me as the technique help.

Jennifer is a fantastic teacher. My daughter thoroughly enjoys her lessons and is making great progress. Jennifer is calm and encouraging and I love the way her lessons mix recorder playing with learning music theory (without my 9 year old realising). Would definitely recommend.
