Excellent teacher. I've been having lesson with Jean for about 2 years now and she has had such a positive impact on my playing. Jean has already helped me hugely, only 4 lessons in. She has taught me some fundamentals including correct embouchure and I am now making a better sound. She is encouraging and supportive, improving my confidence and my range. I feel that she is good at pushing me beyond my comfort zone, but she doesn’t overdo it. She gives me useful tips all the time. My lessons were arranged by my husband as a surprise birthday present and he found her easy to contact, a rapid and reliable communicator and very understanding of the context. We both strongly recommend Jean!

I have really enjoyed my first block of lessons with Jean. She is very friendly, kind and patient which makes our lessons enjoyable. Her skill and knowledge of the clarinet is incredible and she shares it with generosity. I feel like my playing has improved enormously as well as my understanding of the instrument and material. I would recommend Jean to anyone who aspires to playing at a high standard.
