I had a trial lesson with James, not realising we are in different bits of the country, and found a calm likeable teacher. He is very positive, and looks like he knows his stuff. It was a very nice lesson, and but for the distance, I would have continued with him, 100%.

James is a fantastic pianist, and a very supportive teacher. His lessons have been enjoyed by the pupils and as well as guiding pupils through exams, he has helped them explore repertoire that they can relate to, such as current popular songs.

Having worked alongside James for a number of years (and having piano lessons from him more recently) I can absolutely say that he is an empathetic, encouraging and talented piano/guitar teacher, with plenty of experience in teaching students of all ages, levels, abilities and backgrounds.
