Hope has taught me bass online for a number of months and I have very much enjoyed his lessons. He is very attentive, observative, supportive and, above all, patient. His passion for music and student success are so evident. Looking at my skills he had me learning without realising it. I decided to take clarinet lessons because I felt stuck and couldn’t progress on my own. From the very first lesson, Hope provided targeted exercises to move my playing forward. We started by going back to the basics, and gradually built up my skills in music reading, rhythm, and timing. Thanks to Hope’s expert guidance, I can now play confidently in the upper register, and my sound has improved dramatically.
