About Holly. Voice and performance
I have been teaching for 11 years and have over 26 years of experience as a performer and professional singer.
Whether you are looking to take exams, sing for fun or perform on stage, I believe singing can be both fun and therapeutic. Standing up in front of people can be scary, but with the right encouragement, it can be, both fun and rewarding.
You can achieve your goals and build your confidence in a positive and friendly environment.
Voice and performance studios offers lessons to all ages and abilities , I guide students through exercises that help to improve vocal technique and ability so you can enjoy singing your favourite songs and more!
Holly has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Musical theatre and has explored a broad range of vocal disciplines including: Classical, Music theatre and Folk as well as a broad range of Contemporary and Rock & Pop music. She has toured throughout the UK at prestigious venues including Convert garden, The South Bank and several years appearing in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Over the years Holly has appeared as the lead in many musicals, is a vocalist for private events such as weddings, Cabaret and other private functions.
Since 2011, Holly has been creating uniquely personalised learning experiences for every student. Teaching both children and adults, her students have achieved excellent results in both exams and festivals and some have performed lead roles in Musicals for both amateur and professional companies. Holly also prepares young performers for auditions, with many being accepted to multiple drama schools.
