Helen Jayne has been teaching my 9 year old son violin for over a year. She is great at explaining difficult concepts to younger children. She is patient and supportive while encouraging him to keep trying and pushing himself. He really enjoys their lessons and we would both recommend Helen Jayne as a teacher.

Helen is an exceptional music teacher who is hard-working, dedicated, and approachable. My children began learning to play the violin with Helen in online lessons about 10 weeks ago. Prior to this they couldn’t read violin notes and didn’t know about western violin at all. Helen taught them many songs relevant to music exams during these 10 weeks in an efficient and friendly manner. She also guided my children to take violin exams. She also follows up with helpful videos which they use to aid practice. I really appreciate her honest and encouraging approach as well as the advice and tips she provides. My children enjoy the lessons and make faster progress than I ever expected. Very grateful to have Helen as a music teacher for my children – a highly skilled teacher. I look forward to more lessons Her willingness to provide face-to-face classes for my kids in my home despite living very far away is really appreciated. I wish Helen all the best
