A week before my 69th birthday, I decided on a whim to look into singing lessons, having wanted to be able to sing all my life, but never imagined I could. I found Harriet via musicteachers.co.uk and I have not looked back. I am quite a confident instrumentalist (flute, sax), and right from the start Harriet showed me - without ever saying it - how to transfer my musical confidence and skills into my singing. Now it is just a matter of developing my voice and technique while making music, which is challenging but relaxing at the same time. Harriet's approach is highly personal - her main aim is (I think) to make her pupils comfortable and enjoy what they are doing. All in all, she is a wonderful teacher and person and I feel lucky to have found her.
