About Hannah

Hannah is a flautist with more than 15 years of experience in both performing and teaching. She is based in Woodingdean, Brighton and teaches from her home music studio in a private, calm setting. As a passionate community musician she has worked from primary school age through to adults, has experience in SEN, mental health and care settings and believes in a student centred approach to learning.

She has a successful track record of supporting students to take ABRSM practical exams (Grades 1 - 8) however many of her students choose to play just for enjoyment.

Hannah has a PGCert in Performance Teaching at all levels (including HE) as well as an MA in Music Leadership from the Guildhall School of Music. This means she has an in-depth understanding of how to support students to pursue their ambitions, explore playfully and most importantly have fun making music!

Whilst Hannah is classically trained and started her career as an orchestral musician, she has since branched out and you can now find her playing samba every month in Brighton with local band, Samba Roda Viva.
