I returned to the flute after many years away in 2020. I am now a very mature student so finding a good teacher was paramount. My first attempt (not through Musicteachers) proved unsuccessful. Then I found Hannah. I love my lessons with her. She doesn't rush, she explains things in a simple way that you get the point quickly, scales are suddenly interesting (!) and, best of all, I'm having a lot of fun while learning again. I expressed a desire to work towards a grade or similar. Hannah did some research into my options and I am now working towards the Trinity Intermediate certificate. Finding Hannah has been the best bit of flute luck I've had :)

Hannah is an exceptional teacher who keeps the spirit and heart of music alive whilst helping players with all the technical aspects of playing too. She helped me rekindle my joy of playing, prepare for my flute performance diploma, and get ready to teach beginners, and always has an eye on the fun and the joy, on healthy playing habits, and on helpful details and nuances to move my playing standard forward. I always feel better after a lesson with her and she has really brought the flute to life for me and helped me regain my confidence in it and flesh out my understanding of it. Would thoroughly recommend her to anyone.

Hannah is an exceptional music teacher who brings out the absolute best in her students. She is kind, challenging and always welcoming. I highly recommend Hannah for this role.
