I can't recommend Genene highly enough! As an adult learner, it can be nerve-wracking starting with a new piano teacher but Genene is warm and patient, and wants to see you not only improve but enjoy playing along the way. She gently encourages you to challenge yourself and helps you to see the connection between exercises, theory, and playing. In less than a year I've learned so much and feel so much more confident picking up a new piece of music thanks to the cleverly structured techniques she has developed for teaching. Whatever you're wanting to learn on the piano, from classical to improv to jazz and more, she can teach you!
