Freya is wonderful! She has really catered the learning to the style of music that I want to play. When i told her that I like Irish folk music, she prepared some pieces and taught me the important aspects of playing that style. I look forward to my lessons and continue to play the cello because of them. Freya is a lovely person, very encouraging and knows how to shift tactics when needed. After 10 lessons I got 40 more. I have the feeling that she would be fantastic no matter how old or experienced you are. 10/10 recommend.

I have had five incredibly enjoyable lessons now with Freya. I'm an adult beginner and she's done a great job of gaging my musical competencies and sussing out the exact level of challenge. Lessons are not only fun, but I can already see the progress I'm making too. She provides really helpful written feedback at the end of each session and has been guiding me through a range of genres and styles. I would recommend her as a very friendly and very capable teacher!

Freya is a fantastic teacher. Our son is making a lot of technical progress on the cello and Freya also brings a lot of musicality to his learning. She is thorough, sets a good pace, and is very professional. We'd recommend Freya to anyone who is thinking of getting better at the instrument!

I am an adult learner with previous experience grade 8 and above in another instrument, however have not played for 20years! Now I am learning my instrument of choice, and Freya is fantastic. From the beginning she has gone at my pace, and shown care and consideration to the practical tips and techniques required to learn the cello whilst also respecting my existing musical knowledge, and helping me refresh this. She is dedicated and professional, motivating and enthusiastic! Whilst helping you get the absolute best out of your cello playing! I feel very lucky to have her as a teacher

My son Declan has weekly cello lessons with Freya, and she is absolutely wonderful with him. She shows real dedication not only to the cello but also to her teaching. Freya is patient, kind, and always goes the extra mile to help Declan succeed. It is lovely to hear him practise and to listen to his lessons from the other room. We are so grateful for all the hard work and care she puts into every lesson. Thank you, Freya.

Freya is a hard working and inately talented student currently preparing for her LTCL diploma. Her teaching experience is obviously limited at the moment - she has recently started to teach - but as she gains experience I believe she will be an excellent teacher.
