About Fiona M.
Fiona is the visiting professor of violin at Portsmouth University, principal violin teacher at Canford School, one of Britain's leading independent schools, and a tutor for the National Childrens Orchestra.
. Under her tutorship, 81 children and adults have passed grade 8 violin, many with distinction. Many of her students have followed careers as professional musicians and music teachers.
She is currently Music Director of the Coda Fiddle Orchestra (Hon Patron Nigel Kennedy) (see facebook page), a community music project supported by Bournemouth Rotary. CFO has performed at the Royal Festival Hall and one child gained a place at the Yehudi Menuhin School. (See Facebook page)

Fiona teaches at home in Boscombe, Bournemouth, and remotely on Teams, Zoom, Webex and Whatsapp.
She graduated with Bachelor of Music, First Class Honours in 1990. Since then, she has followed an international career as a soloist and violin teacher in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Thailand and the UK.
She was a violinist with the West Australia Symphony Orchestra, then the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and a member of its prize winning education team.
All students receive the first trial lesson free of charge.
