In-person & Online Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute & Music Theory Lessons

I offer engaging, personalised lessons in saxophone, clarinet, flute and music theory. Whether you’re a complete beginner, returning after a break, or preparing for graded exams, I’ll help you build strong foundations and make consistent progress — all from the comfort of your own home.

I hold a Master of Arts and Bachelor’s degree in Saxophone from the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music and have over seven years’ teaching experience, working with students aged 5 to adult across classical and jazz styles.

Online lessons are structured yet flexible, with a focus on:
• Developing secure technique and a confident sound
• Strengthening music reading and theory knowledge
• Building musical expression and creativity
• Establishing effective and realistic practice habits
• Preparing for exams (if desired) or playing for enjoyment

Each lesson is tailored to your individual goals and learning pace, creating a supportive and motivating environment where you can grow in confidence and independence.

Alongside teaching, I maintain an active performing career. I’ve appeared multiple times with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, performed with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and worked with The Royal Ballet. In the jazz world, I’ve played at Ronnie Scott’s alongside Orphy Robinson, and performed at Pizza Express Live Soho and Crazy Coqs. I’ve also worked with the Syd Lawrence Jazz Orchestra and the National Youth Jazz Orchestra.

I offer 30, 45, and 60-minute lessons. I’m a patient, relaxed and enthusiastic teacher, and I’m passionate about helping students grow in confidence and independence as musicians.

If you’d like to discuss your goals or have any questions, feel free to get in touch — I’d be delighted to hear from you.
