My daughter has had piano lesson with Emil few weeks back and we couldn’t be happier with the progress she’s made. Emil has a wonderful way of making lessons engaging and fun while building a strong foundation in technique and musicality. He is incredibly patient and encouraging, tailoring his teaching style to suit our child’s learning pace and personality. Highly recommend Emil to anyone looking for a piano teacher who inspires and nurtures young students!

Emil is a great instructor: seems technically very proficient, calm, patient and willing to listen to what the student wants from the classes. Was also flexible enough to fit around my timetable. Couldn't recommend more highly

We are so thankful to have found Emil! My son was looking for an expert jazz teacher to help him improve his jazz piano skills and work on auditions for uni. Emil is above and beyond what we were looking for! My son has learned so much from him in just a few lessons and has asked that we continue with Emil indefinitely. In addition to being a highly skilled teacher, he is also great at communicating and makes the lesson process easy. Highly recommend!

Emil is truly fantastic. Why? It’s inspiring when he plays and demonstrates what you could be doing in the future. He also took a really structured approach of setting some goals with me and then working out how to get there in a way that would suit me. But he is not fixed on how we do it. You can see him really thinking through each lesson and making sure it’s individual to me. He has so many ways (a big toolkit of tips and tricks) to get you to try something. If it’s not working one way he will think of another. It’s structured but not generic coaching, it’s tailored. And he is always super supportive of the progress you have made or if you are struggling he is still positive and works out a new ways to tackle something. I’ve got further than I thought I would faster than I thought I could!

Emil has been fantastic with my 5 year old son, teaching him the basics in an engaging way. My son has really enjoyed his sessions with Emil. Thank you

After many years of being out of touch with music I found Emil and purchased a set of five sessions, and I’m glad I did. I found Emil to have a very positive, accessible and generous teaching style. He guided me on how to approach my return to piano, started me on piano practice and sight reading routines, and taught me posture and technique - which I had forgotten. I now feel I know what I need to do to progress and am confident I can achieve higher piano qualifications. I highly recommend Emil.

Emil knows more about music than anyone I have ever met, yet presents his knowledge with openness, patience, and understanding. I could not have asked for a better teacher.
