I highly recommend Elisabeth - as an adult improver, her approach has been really supportive and tailored to my learning, and her tuition has enabled me not just to improve my playing but also to learn more about musical periods and forms. It’s really improved my confidence in playing, and the range of pieces I’m working on, along with practice exercises, are challenging but manageable, and supported and encouraged by Elisabeth. I really look forward to my lessons and am motivated to practise and learn more independently, too.

Elisabeth is very patient with my young daughter, she has been teaching her recorder for about 5 months now and I think she is a wonderful teacher. She covers all aspects of learning how to play music in a way that my daughter is able to understand even at a very young age.

Elisabeth is a brilliant teacher! I've started learning the flute as an adult and she's been patient and encouraging while giving me lots of exercises to help improve my breath control that I can do whenever I have time. The lessons are engaging and she checked with me that the pacing was good for me. I feel like I've made some really good progress over the past month and I only have Elisabeth to thank!

I am a mature absolute beginner recorder player and was looking for a tutor that would help me to learn specific pieces of music, in particular early music, and Elisabeth has done just that. Even though I've been unwell through some of the lessons, Elisabeth has always been patient and positive, and supportive. She is a very calm, yet enthusiastic and knowledgeable tutor and I have found her teaching so encouraging and thoroughly enjoyable. I highly recommend.
