I’ve been playing guitar for around 25 years, and Dave is without a doubt the best guitar teacher I’ve ever had. What makes him stand out is how quickly he identifies exactly what you need to work on. Within minutes, he’ll spot issues with timing, technique or playing that other teachers have missed, and he explains everything in a way that makes sense. His musical knowledge is exceptional, but lessons never feel overwhelming. Everything is well structured, the handouts are genuinely useful, and there’s always a clear sense of progress rather than just learning random pieces. Dave is incredibly patient, pays attention to detail, and has helped me improve things I’d struggled with for years. Lessons are relaxed, enjoyable and motivating, and he’s a genuinely friendly teacher who clearly cares about his students. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Dave is a fantastic piano teacher, particularly for beginners like me. I would highly recommend him. He is also very flexible with dates/times for lessons which is great for adults with varying commitments each week.
