Learning how to play bass really enjoying my lessons learning a lot of techniques on the bass and having fun talking to Dave about songs with different bass lines and understanding a lot.

Despite being a fairly accomplished bass player with years of experience playing across many different genres, one thing which has held me back has been the inability to pick up a piece of music and sight read it. A skill that is increasingly called upon in many musical situations. I also wanted to further my knowledge of bass theory and harmony. With these aims in mind, meeting David felt almost serendipitous: A natural teacher and professional musician, friendly and empathetic, highly qualified and with a knowledge and passion for all things bass that surpasses my own. David quickly understood what I wanted to achieve and has been a huge help to me in taking this forward. His lessons have been an absolute pleasure. Regardless of where you are in your bass playing journey - beginner or expert (or somewhere in between) I cannot recommend David highly enough.

David is an amazing teacher! I cannot believe how patient he is with my 4 and 5 year old boys, they both have autism and one has adhd - I have never seen anyone so consistently keeping them engaged and happy week after week. They are thriving under David's tutelage! He's kind, clever and calm. Never phased by the boys moods, he makes learning fun. Thanks David!
