Dan is my second music teacher for alto saxophone as an adult beginner. I came to lessons with a tunnel vision of learning scales advised by my previous teacher. Dan has expanded my outlook about music to be more fluid and playful. This has had a positive effect in also generalising to my life’s outlook. Dan suggests helpful techniques and methods to improve my playing and motivation to practice. He is patient and has allowed me to feel comfortable to make mistakes and learn.
