Christine is an incredible teacher! Technically speaking, she is fantastic at teaching strategies for better controlling, shaping and supporting my voice - I’d never taken singing lessons before and this was all totally new to me. It’s very rewarding to build the skill from scratch! But Christine goes above and beyond in her focus on me as a whole person. She’s interested in how my identity, creativity and emotional state play into my voice, and that makes the lessons a wonderfully enriching and healing experience. Our lessons are also really fun, and there’s lots of space to be silly and play around with my voice, in a way that feels very natural and freeing! I can’t recommend Christine as a teacher enough! :)

Having had serious issues about singing both for myself and especially in front of other people, looking to start lessons was a daunting experience. Searching for a teacher quickly became a struggle due to so many telling you that you would learn how they taught. Upon finding Christine's profile I almost immediately knew that I would be comfortable in taking lessons with her because she spoke about how she would learn to understand her students to find how best to help the individual. After meeting her and having the first lesson I knew I had made the right decision in taking lessons with her as she made me feel more secure and comfortable to tackle my own inhibitions and to also understand what contributed to my own fears and anxiety whilst teaching various techniques for the voice and how posture can improve the whole experience. Beyond singing, Christine has helped me with more personal issues, that while I never made the connection with, has a massive impact on my ability to perform and sing and more importantly, enjoy getting stuck into. She is more than just a teacher of technique and posture, she really cares about the whole experience and helping individuals find themselves in the best way.
