Charlotte completed ABRSM grade exams on Euphonium and in 2023 passed the Performance Diploma Exam - DipABRSM
Charlotte is also trained in Classical and Musical Theatre singing. In 2014 she passed her Grade 8 West London Musical Theatre exam and in 2022 passed her Grade 8 ABRSM Classical Singing Exam with merit.
Since early childhood, Charlotte has been involved with reading music and playing an array of musical instruments. In 2006 she started learning Baritone Horn with a local brass band and switched onto Euphonium after a few years.
After leaving university in 2017, Charlotte set up an acappella community choir in South Oxfordshire. As the founder of this choir, Charlotte manages all aspects herself, whether that be musical director, administrator, budgeter and more. At the start of 2022, Charlotte became Musical Director for another local acappella group.
Performing has been a life-long passion of Charlotte's, be that in music or in acting. In 2017 Charlotte graduated from the University of Winchester with a First-Class Honours Degree in Performing Arts. Charlotte has a keen attention to detail and focus that never waivered throughout education. Now, she spends her spare time learning the Piano, immersing herself in learning a broad repertoire of music across her instruments and expanding her creative practice as much as possible.
She now works in local primary schools, delivering small group music lessons on brass and woodwind. She also teaches adults and children privately, primarily on singing or brass.
Charlotte has a range of teaching experience in different capacities from ages 5 to 95! She is keen to share her passion for music and love for performing in ways to suit everyone.
Charlotte is a member of the ISM (Incorporated Society of Musicians).
