Ben is a fantastic teacher. He has a huge wealth of knowledge and skills which he shares in a very kind, patient and encouraging way. He has been an enormous help and support in my returning to music and I honestly believe his teaching has pushed me along much further than I believed I could be at this point, even only after a small handful of lessons! A fantastic teacher with an abundance of knowledge, skill and patience. I would recommend Ben to anyone.

I am an adult experienced player but self taught. I was looking for a teacher who could help me with specific skills. Ben has been very effective in identifying both weaknesses and ways to address them. This is exactly what I needed and I have noticed significant improvement in my playing.

Ben is top class. He has patience and is very inspirational. I really enjoy my lessons and every time he finishes the lesson I can’t wait to try out new pieces on my cornet. Playing duets with him is a great way of improving my confidence. I am a beginner and only started lessons this spring..

Ben has been teaching me for seven months. I started as a complete beginner who couldn’t read music and I’m really pleased with the progress he has helped me to make. He does more than teach music, having advised me on buying an instrument, which music books might suit me, and of a local orchestra that is suitable for beginners. As Ben does my lessons at my home address, it is equally important to say that he is a genuinely nice person who puts you at ease, is reliable and a great Teacher. I recommend anyone who is considering taking lessons stops thinking about it and just books them. I am really pleased I did.
