Anna is a wonderful and incredibly talented music teacher, she makes you feel very welcome and at ease, her music room, and her home, are a lovely place to learn in. I had ten lessons with Anna after being signed off work for a while due to a traumatic experience, whilst at the same time discovering I could suddenly sing when I hadn’t had any interest or knowledge of before. My sessions with her have been amazing, like therapy, and have increased my confidence and helped me go back to work sooner. I have learnt so much about music and how to use my voice and I will never forget that what could have been a painful time became a time of my life I will never forget for all the good things that have happened with Anna being at the top of that list and inspiring me to get up, breathe, talk, stretch, …and sing!

Anna has been teaching my 9 year old daughter for the past year and it has been really positive to see how much she enjoys the lessons. Anna is very inspiring and encouraging, helping my daughter to develop her musical ear. She has been combining singing and piano - and step by step - she has been making good progress. It is the love of music and melody which is lovely to see developing. Anna is approachable, flexible, and responsive to messages.

Anna’s enthusiasm, skills and kindness ensured that I felt supported on my journey. As a new member of a local choir I was keen to improve my skills and confidence to perform. A most enjoyable experience!

Anna is full of life, always positive in her feedback, and able to see beyond getting the notes right into telling the story that's in the song.

I approached Anna for help preparing my daughter for the aural section of her piano exam. It was quite a niche request but Anna was fantastic. She made my daughter feel so much more confident in all aspects of the tasks required and taught her techniques in a fun and understandable way. I saw a huge difference at home and having just sat her exam today, my daughter has come out smiling and relieved that she had Anna's guidance over the last few weeks. I will certainly be asking for Anna's help again for future piano gradings!

Anna is a lovely and patient teacher who helped my daughter to develop her confidence in singing and a range of skills such as sight-reading. The communication was always relevant and timely. Anna was always helpful and able to offer guidance when asked. She also provided a written progress summary for daughter's D of E records. Super. I would totally recommend Anna as a singing teacher :)

While I don't know Anna's work as a teacher, I am familiar with her work as a musician, administrator and translator. And from what I know of Anna as a colleague and as a person, I would expect to rate her very highly as a teacher: she is extremely conscientious and committed to whatever she does, she is extremely thoughtful and caring, is always well prepared, and has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
