Andrew is a fantastic drum teacher. He’s incredibly patient and very encouraging. He really thinks about what teaching methods work for the individual pupil and every lesson is a joy. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

Andrew has been reliable and supportive throughout my lessons. I’ve made more progress than I expected to and his support and guidance have been invaluable. The exercises he recommended were fun and helped me to build my skills. I’m a complete beginner so didn’t know what to expect but I’ve enjoyed all of my lessons and I’ll be booking more. 🤗

My 14 year old has been having lessons with Andrew for nearly a year, on and off, and really enjoys their sessions together. Andrew is patient, knowledgeable, and takes time to understand what my child wants to achieve, working together to help them to progress with their drum skills. Andrew ensures the lessons are engaging and offers frequent praise and encouragement. I find the flexibility of online lessons easier to fit in around school and other commitments, and don’t feel anything is lost by not being with the teacher in real life.

Andrew is such a lovely, down to earth guy who just is a dictionary of drumming. We go through so many incredible chops and techniques as well as what life is like as a touring drummer . So honoured to be one of his pupils !!

We collaborated on a series of online lessons in the past for ‘Mapex UK’, in which Andrew had the opportunity to create an online learning resource for drummers who were stuck indoors during the pandemic. Andrew presented himself in these videos as someone who was keen to inspire those that learned from him and to make the process fun.
