Andrew is an excellent teacher and an amazing drummer. He takes time initially to understand why you are taking the lessons and what you are trying to achieve and then starts with the basics and builds from there as you are ready. At each lesson Andrew tries different things that relate to what you want to achieve and suggests what to practice at home and how best to practice in order to embed the learning. There is a lot of chat at lessons about different topics revolving around drumming and music generally, but all focused around what you are working on. These chats help you to get into what drumming is all about. I would highly recommend Andrew to anyone looking to learn about drumming, regardless of whether you are a beginner or at a more advanced level, his teaching and insight will be of great benefit.

Andrew is an inspiring teacher. He is an excellent musician who has the ability to break down complicated skills into simple chunks, all whilst keeping lessons enjoyable. Not only does he have the patience to teach my 6 year old, they both seem to have a great deal of fun every week.

Andrew is super supportive and provides great advice with a variety of methods to make things easier to understand. I've really enjoyed having lessons with him so far!
