Generally, providing group teaching, courses, workshops, events, masterclasses, camps etc. has social and musical benefits for both children and adults, beginners and advanced. When you learn together, you also learn from each other, and you also have someone to share your experiences with. If you would like to learn a lot, meet others with the same interest as you and while keeping your costs down, group lessons are a good choice.

It is part of the service we offer, to ensure that the quality and safety are always top notch.

Cancellation policy

Purchasing a space in a group entitles you to attend all scheduled sessions. A cooling off period of 14 days applies to the purchase of a space in this group. Within this time, should you wish to cancel, please write to [email protected] . If the first session of the group falls within the 14 day cooling off period, the cooling off period ends at the date and time of the first session. When the cooling off period ends, it is not possible to cancel and receive a refund for your space in the group.

If the teacher falls ill, or if the lesson is cancelled for another reason, you will, as far as feasible, always receive a notification as soon as possible via your inbox on your profile and/or by email. In the first instance, a replacement session or sessions, scheduled at a reasonable replacement date and time will be arranged by the teacher. In instances where this is not possible, a pro-rata refund commensurate with the sessions not delivered will be offered.

In instances where the teacher has set a minimum viable number of students and this is not met 7 days before the group starts, the group will be cancelled. You will be notified via email and a full refund will be provided. Read all our terms and conditions here.

My 12 year old son has just finished his first block with Sarah and she is amazing. Super friendly and easy going as well as really knowing her stuff. Shes helped him build his confidence as he has not long started and gets easily frustrated with himself and with no schools open (co-vid) its been very hard finding a tutor to continue his lessons, let alone one that's good enough to make sure he doesn't give up and affordable! He is very comfortable with Sarah and she will now continue to be his violin teacher, even when he goes back to school. He even says he doesn't want to stop sessions with her so I cant argue with that as he his really enjoying it. Shes given us some great advice too along with links to some help with the basics including pictures and where to buy useful books and spare strings and if I have any questions, I can ask her whenever I want. Even I have learnt how to change the strings and tune them. Its great! The set up for lessons online is really easy too. You just log in on the music tutors website and go to your dashboard. On there you will see all the lessons you have booked with Sarah in date order and you just click on the one for that day and straight away a page opens where your webcam and mic will be turned on and you will see Sarah waiting and away you go. Easy peasy! Once the session has finished you just close that window and that will turn off your webcam and mic. I think its a great set up and music tutors are very helpful too if your unsure of anything.
