Group lessons in music theory are ideal for those who want the best price, and to get the cheapest lessons possible without compromising on quality. Generally, providing group teaching, courses, workshops, events, masterclasses, camps etc. has social and musical benefits for both children and adults, beginners and advanced. When you learn together, you also learn from each other, and you also have someone to share your experiences with. If you would like to learn a lot, meet others with the same interest as you and while keeping your costs down, group lessons are a good choice.

Regardless of what you choose, we guarantee that all teachers at MusicTeachers.co.uk have already undergone a teacher approval process including a review of their professional background and experience, enhanced DBS/PVG and criminal record check. It is part of the service we offer, to ensure that the quality and safety are always top notch.

Cancellation policy

Purchasing a space in a group entitles you to attend all scheduled sessions. A cooling off period of 14 days applies to the purchase of a space in this group. Within this time, should you wish to cancel, please write to [email protected] . If the first session of the group falls within the 14 day cooling off period, the cooling off period ends at the date and time of the first session. When the cooling off period ends, it is not possible to cancel and receive a refund for your space in the group.

If the teacher falls ill, or if the lesson is cancelled for another reason, you will, as far as feasible, always receive a notification as soon as possible via your inbox on your profile and/or by email. In the first instance, a replacement session or sessions, scheduled at a reasonable replacement date and time will be arranged by the teacher. In instances where this is not possible, a pro-rata refund commensurate with the sessions not delivered will be offered.

In instances where the teacher has set a minimum viable number of students and this is not met 7 days before the group starts, the group will be cancelled. You will be notified via email and a full refund will be provided. Read all our terms and conditions here.

Sara is highly recommended. She is instantly engaging and truly interested in tailoring her tuition to meet your own personal circumstance and needs. She is full of encouragement and is immensley knowledgeable and skilled. I learned so much in a one hour session I couldn't quite believe it. Sara is such an amazing teacher! She has made me feel so comfortable during every lesson and within the first 2 lessons I have learned a lot more than I imagined! Sara has thought me topics that have really brought all my existing knowledge of music theory together, explaining the “why” of certain elements which my previous piano teacher didn’t go into great detail on but it proved to be super valuable.Things I never knew I needed to know but they have seriously helped me already! Sara is an excellent communicator and her understanding of her students needs is incredible. We chatted about numerous struggles of mine and she approached the lessons in a way she knew would benefit me and I couldn’t be happier with how I am progressing. As a result I have booked in for 10 more lessons with Sara and with everything I’ve learned so far then next lessons can’t come quick enough! I honestly can’t recommend her enough!
