Sara is highly recommended. She is instantly engaging and truly interested in tailoring her tuition to meet your own personal circumstance and needs. She is full of encouragement and is immensley knowledgeable and skilled. I learned so much in a one hour session I couldn't quite believe it. Having wanted to play the piano for 30 years now, I was a little nervous about putting myself in a music tutor's hands. However, I should not have worried. Sara is such an amazing teacher! She has made me feel so comfortable during every lesson and within the first 2 lessons I have learned a lot more than I imagined! Sara has thought me topics that have really brought all my existing knowledge of music theory together, explaining the “why” of certain elements which my previous piano teacher didn’t go into great detail on but it proved to be super valuable.Things I never knew I needed to know but they have seriously helped me already! Sara is an excellent communicator and her understanding of her students needs is incredible. We chatted about numerous struggles of mine and she approached the lessons in a way she knew would benefit me and I couldn’t be happier with how I am progressing. As a result I have booked in for 10 more lessons with Sara and with everything I’ve learned so far then next lessons can’t come quick enough! I honestly can’t recommend her enough!

Just five lessons in and I'm already so much more confident and capable on the piano. As a beginner, Sara's ability to hone in on exactly which aspects of technique I need to focus on is precisely what I need. She quickly ascertained my current level and has given me pieces that provide a good amount of challenge but are achievable - which is so satisfying when I can play them. Her lessons are fully rounded and provide me with the tools I need to make good progress (practical techniques, understanding rhythm, music theory etc.). I highly recommend Sara if you want to make good progress.

Supportive, patient, knowledgeable. Sara is aware of the needs of her students and offers very logical techniques and songs to help me match my voice to its potential. I've been to a couple of different singing lessons from different teachers/clubs and this is the first teacher I've seen to show me healthy ways to use my individual voice and leave a lesson without feeling exhausted. The recommended warm ups and physical direction she instructs for particular vocal skills is just what I was looking for in my singing tutorials. I highly recommend her for anyone wanting to level up their vocal skills

I have been having piano lessons with Sara for a couple of months now and I am loving them! Sara explains music theory simply and patiently, always checking my understanding and then applying it with new pieces, and we are working towards a piece that I have chosen to keep it enjoyable!
