About Yvonne
Yvonne is a professional singer-songwriter and performer. Yvonne gained her professional experience completing a Songwriting Diploma at BIMM London and performing at notable venues across London including Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club, Park Plaza London, The Ned including many others. Her music has been recognised internationally and featured in publications including Clash Magazine, Afropunk Magazine, The Line of Best Fit and additionally radio play on BBC Cambridgeshire & Amazing Radio.
Her recent work includes a commission with Nene Park Art Trust and Arts Council England, developing two original songs and a short music film based on Nene Park in Peterborough and she is a recipient of PRS for Music’s Women Make Music Funding Award, PRS for Music’s Open Fund award and Arts Council England DYCP award. She has also recently signed to independent record label Trapped Animal Records.
Yvonne has been teaching both privately for a four years and is currently a vocal instructor with City Academy London and previously with Razzamatazz Performing Arts. She has experience teaching a wide variety of students from all ages and with all types of experience and has had previous students who have obtained roles in Off-Westend musicials and have been signed to artist agencies for representation in Musical Theatre.

“My teaching is focussed on creating a relaxed, fun and open atmosphere where all students feel welcomed and are inspired to learn more about their voice and grow in confidence. We will work on contemporary material that interests you and the lessons will be focussed on developing technique in a relaxed setting based on your goals & interests".
