Experienced and engaging freelance classical trumpet player recently graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with a First Class Honours Bachelor's degree as well as the LRAM diploma in instrumental tuition. Passionate about fostering an engaging, fun and productive learning environment for students of all levels in which they can improve their playing and general musicianship.

Whether your goal is to hone your skills as a hobby, improving your playing alongside your ensemble rehearsals, or working towards a grade exam/upcoming performance, Tom has a diverse range of musical experience to draw from having performed as principal trumpet at the BBC Proms; in the band pit at the Charing Cross Theatre; as a chamber musician at the Wigmore Hall, as well as solo recitals. Versed in all styles from Jazz and Musical Theatre to Baroque music and contemporary performance, Tom aims to cater to the individual needs of every student, bringing out their innate musicianship while presenting an innovative approach to problem solving and a keen understanding of the fundamentals necessary for successful (and fun!) brass playing.
