With years of experience performing globally and a passion for teaching, I’ll tailor lessons to your goals—making music fun while building strong fundamentals.
About Me
A classically trained trumpeter with a love for jazz and improvisation, I’ve performed with leading orchestras worldwide, including the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Auckland Philharmonia, Ulster Orchestra and many more. Recently based in London, I’m excited to bring my expertise to new students after years of teaching across ages and skill levels.
My journey began in Wellington, New Zealand, where I studied at the New Zealand School of Music, followed by a Master’s at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Beyond classical, I thrive on exploring diverse styles—whether it’s jazz, chamber music, or creative improvisation.
When I’m not playing trumpet, you might find me playing and teaching cello, piano, or bass.
Lessons
All ages & abilities welcome – Beginners to advanced players.
Flexible teaching: I travel to students in Southwark, or further afield on a case by case basis, and host lessons in SE17 1NG.
Need an instrument? I can recommend affordable rental options.
