Hi! My name's Thomas Donnelly and I’m a full-time musician based in the North-East of England. I have over fifteen years of experience playing guitar and I studied Music Composition at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland for four years. I’ve been lucky enough to perform at some of Scotland’s best music venues and I love sharing what I’ve learned with others, helping people discover just how fun and rewarding playing the guitar can be.

My lessons combine practical playing technique with a solid understanding of the music theory behind your favourite songs—covering harmony, scales, chords, melody, soloing, improvisation, rhythm, and how your guitar part fits with the rest of the band. Not only will I help you learn to play the songs you love (and impress your friends and family!), but I’ll also show you how to take musical ideas, licks, and techniques from those songs and turn them into tools you can use in your own playing.

Each lesson will be tailored to your own specific goals. Whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time or looking to take your playing to the next level, my number one priority is to make learning guitar fun and inspiring!
