About Theano P.
Theano is a singer and violinist with a decade’s experience working with children and adults. She creates a friendly and energetic atmosphere for her students, enabling them to immerse themselves in the world of music without fear of making mistakes. She is equally comfortable teaching young children as she is working with adults who take up music later in life.
Theano loves finding creative new ways to support the learning process. Flexible and open-minded, she listens and responds to each of her students’ individual needs, setting clear goals and teaching traditional repertoire while also leaving room for improvisation and spontaneity. She incorporates rhythm, theory and musicianship training into her lessons. Her priority is to ensure her students are confident in their abilities and achieve their best.
Theano is currently studying for a Masters in Vocal Performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. She previously studied Music Education and Musicology at Aristotle University, Thessaloniki, before earning a Singing Diploma with First-Class Honours and a Violin Diploma with Distinction for Excellence and Outstanding Performance from Athens Conservatoire. She has played solo violin recitals, orchestral concerts and ensemble performances in France, Austria, Greece and Italy. She is currently in training as an instrumental ambassador at the Benedetti foundation. She is fluent in English, French and Greek.
