My name is Ted Morcaldi, I am a guitarist from the US now living in the UK. I have 20 years teaching experience from beginners to professional musicians. As a professional player myself, I always approach lessons with real-world experiences and musical inspirations. I also have produced and engineered many albums and played on many recordings, so this is another aspect of what I can teach to a prospective music production student.

My own musical background is rooted in jazz and improvisational music, and expands from there. I have a band of my own which performs my compositions around the UK and also work with other artists ranging from electronic, improvised, ambient music to singer-songwriters.

In the states I taught at Western Connecticut State University for nearly 10 years. I taught classical guitar and jazz guitar as well as a guitar ensemble class.
