About Steven Kellner
Steve is a highly experienced and accomplished musician, a session drummer, worldwide clinician/teacher( Sabian/Remo/Vic Firth), author(Modern drummer magazine), composer( EMI/Music House), and producer. His musical journey has taken him on extensive tours across the UK, Europe, and Australia, where he has performed in a wide range of venues, from intimate clubs to large stadium tours. Notably, Steve had the honour of supporting James Brown in East Berlin in front of an audience of over 120,000 people.
Steve's contributions to the music scene extend beyond live performances. As a session drummer, he has lent his talents to over 25 albums and numerous singles, leaving his mark on a diverse range of musical projects. Some of the live and recording artists he has worked with include:

Passing on his passion and skills has been a highlight of his journey. Steve has had the privilege of performing more than 30 drum clinics, both in the UK and Europe, representing esteemed drum brands Sabian, Remo, and Vic Firth. He has also conducted master classes at many music colleges, conservatories, and schools. Some of the joint clinic performances included a very memorable one with Terry Bozzio at the Clapham Grand in London.
Collaboration is at the heart of Steve's creative process. Working alongside his brothers and various labels such as KPM/EMI and Noise pump, he has contributed to the creation of over 200 songs for film, television, and radio. These songs have been featured in popular productions like "Snakes on the Plane," "Hollyoaks," "Malcolm in the Middle," and "American Idol."
The opportunity to demonstrate techniques, offer insights, and help drummers of all skill levels refine their craft brings him immense joy. Steve is dedicated to assisting aspiring musicians in unlocking their full potential and becoming the best musicians they can be.
