About Stephanie
Hi! I'm a highly experienced music teacher with a genuine passion for making learning music fun, engaging, and rewarding. I believe everyone can learn to play with the right encouragement, and I love helping students build confidence while discovering the joy of making music.
With over 10 years of teaching experience in both schools and private lessons, I've worked with students of all ages and abilities—from complete beginners picking up an instrument for the very first time to advanced musicians looking to refine their skills. No previous experience is needed; all you need is enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
Every lesson is tailored to you. Whether you want to play your favourite songs, work towards graded exams, improve your technique, develop your musicianship, or simply learn for fun, I'll create lessons that match your goals, interests, and learning style.
I teach a wide range of musical styles, including pop, rock, classical, jazz, musical theatre, film music, and much more. If there's a particular artist or genre you love, we'll use that as part of your learning to keep lessons enjoyable and motivating.
I have extensive experience teaching GCSE music and can provide support with GCSE compositions and performance for students to achieve the highest possible grades.
My teaching style is relaxed, friendly, and supportive. I aim to create an environment where students feel comfortable, enjoy every lesson, and leave each week feeling proud of what they've achieved. Learning music shouldn't feel like a chore—it should be something you genuinely look forward to!
Whether you're 5 or 85, taking your very first lesson or looking to take your playing to the next level, I'd love to help you achieve your musical goals. I look forward to meeting you and starting your musical journey together!
