Simon is a great teacher, always supportive, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the instruments and musical styles he teaches. My playing and confidence continues to improve as I work with him. He's always happy to support my interests, tabbing songs I want to learn and introducing me to new material.

Banjo lessons with Simon have been brilliant! He tailors each lesson to suit the individual. He’s helping me improve my technique towards getting a better driving rhythm and hopefully to get better at playing by ear, as well as teaching me some music theory. He is very encouraging and patient - he makes lessons fun! Simon is always extremely positive and conscientious and supports lessons with audio files or tab, useful comments and examples of other players. He's fantastic!
