Silvio was nice and patient and gave me good tips on how I could improve and how to make practicing more fun. He messaged me about the pieces after some lessons to reiterate the most important points. The only negative thing I can say is that he was often late for our lessons, but it didn't bother me much as it was at the weekend.

Silvio is both a brilliant pianist and piano teacher. He is equally at home with classical music, jazz, latin and popular music. As a former musician myself (on another instrument) I have always wanted to improve my piano playing, which has now greatly improved thanks to his systematic approach of improving my technique with classical pieces/studies, while gradually and methodically imparting all the jazz building blocks for chord voicings, comping, bass lines and improvisation.

Silvio teaches both my son and myself. He has a very good teaching method for both beginners and advanced students. He always makes lesson very enjoyable and yet productive.
